Efficiently facing the problems of tenders and commercial offers is an increasingly indispensable need for different reasons, which are bound to the typical factors connected with such activities and also directly bound to the need to rationalize and improve a company's internal processes.

The Contract Manager product family is the ideal solution that allows the company structure dealing with the problems concerning preparation of offer for tenders, contracts and direct supplies, to best manage, in a rational way, all the activities of the various work processes, allowing it to control the entire operation procedure and favouring the integration of incoming and outgoing data managed by other corporate systems.

The logic distinguishing each product of the Contract Manager family is closely bound to the actual needs that are typical of the Tender&Bid segment, and for this very reason cannot be solved by adopting any generic Commercial Management module .

Therefore, the functionalities made available to the users are entirely consistent with the specific “mission” of Contract Manager, namely allowing the management of a dossier in a way as complete as possible. By dossier we mean all the macro-phases and activities included between its opening and its final closing. For example:

Initialization (management of call for tenders and invitations);
Management of expiry dates;
Management of “bureaucratic” activities, with particular reference to the production of complex documents, and collection of Special Specifications;
Management of “technical offer” and relevant annexes;
Management of award results, management of any contractual improvements and extensions;
Collection of  competition information, maybe integrated with data coming from the field;
Management of cross-business activities, such as Ministerial updates, Price lists, product replacement or flanking;
Entering of customer orders with direct check of the offer conditions.

Therefore in this context, a set of "basic activities" and functions has been identified and developed (either natively or through additional modules) which can support users both in their strictly operational and strategic needs, which are bound to the progress of activities at the highest level.

In fact, Contract Manager products are based on a WorkFlow engine (Feedback WorkFlow Manager) which defines and regulates the correct execution of the special activities to be carried out, and allows the Company to integrate them consistently with their “business rules” and internal policies.

This approach allows managing various types of processes that are different one from the other, such as Private tender, Public Auction, Purchasing Grouping  (namely the possibility to manage a commercial negotiation with several subjects), Simple Offer, which can be freely defined by each Company.

Therefore, the entire process is continuously monitored, and the activity schedule can be filtered by dossier, type of activity, owner, deadline, importance, duration, etc.

The possibility to make use of standard databases, such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, along with the complete interoperability with other management systems already adopted by the Company (ETMS, ERP, Business Intelligence) adds further positive elements to their adoption.

Of course, if necessary, the application may be customized to solve any Customer's special needs, though keeping full compatibility with any new version subsequently released by Feedback.

This is why the Contract Manager family products are the right answer to the increasingly stronger demands of concrete IT solutions, which should be powerful and flexible at the same time, should support the value offered by Companies to their Customers, and supply real-time data and information for the activity improvement.
